It depends on the floor, the room size, the subfloor and the prep needed. Typical national installed ranges are roughly $4 to $12 per square foot for LVP, $3 to $12 for carpet, $8 to $30 for tile and $3 to $12 for epoxy. These are guidance, not quotes; see the cost guide.

Many single rooms or small homes take one to three days, depending on removal, leveling and the number of transitions. We confirm the schedule in writing.

The planks resist water, but seams, edges and the subfloor still need protection. Proper installation, expansion gaps and moisture checks are what keep an LVP floor trouble-free. See our LVP page.

For rooms that may see water, usually yes, because laminate's wood-fiber core can swell. Our comparison covers feel, sound and cost.

Tile is better in showers and the wettest zones; LVP is warmer, quieter and quicker to install. Many homes use both. See LVP versus tile.

Small items and breakables should be cleared. Large furniture can be moved by us if it is included in the scope, so mention it at the estimate.

Sometimes. Flat, solid vinyl or tile can occasionally be overlaid, but carpet cannot, and uneven or damaged bases usually need to be corrected or removed first.
