Flooring work in progress by Eugene Flooring

Quick answer

Eugene Flooring is a locally based flooring contractor serving homeowners, landlords and businesses in Eugene, Springfield and across Lane County. We install LVP, carpet, tile and epoxy floors, quote after a free in-home estimate and put the scope in writing. You can reach us by phone or text during extended hours six days a week.

Who we are

Eugene Flooring is a service-area business based in Eugene, Oregon. We come to your home, rental or workplace, look at the floor and give you a plain-English plan. We focus on flooring for kitchens, baths, bedrooms, living areas, garages, basements and small commercial spaces, and we travel across Lane County and the rest of the state.

We keep the offering deliberately focused: luxury vinyl plank, carpet, tile and epoxy. Flooring done well is part product knowledge and part preparation, and we would rather do four things carefully than list everything a floor could be. That focus lets us explain trade-offs honestly, including when we think a cheaper or simpler option is the better fit.

How we work

  1. We look before we quote. Estimates are free and in-home because photos cannot show soft subfloors, moisture or uneven framing.
  2. We prepare first. Removal, patching, leveling and moisture checks come before any material is laid.
  3. We write it down. The scope covers removal, prep, materials, transitions, trim and cleanup, and terms are confirmed in writing.
  4. We plan for the weather. Eugene's wet season affects how materials are delivered, stored and acclimated.
  5. We explain the trade-offs. If a floor is a poor fit for a room, we say so.

What we do not do

We do not publish invented prices, because every house is different and a number on a web page would be a guess. Where this site shows dollar figures, they are labeled typical national ranges to help you budget, not our quotes. We do not promise results a subfloor cannot support, and we will not recommend a more expensive product than the room needs.

What we install

Our services include LVP flooring for kitchens and entries, carpet for bedrooms and stairs, tile for baths and mudrooms and epoxy for garages and shops. Each page explains how the floor is installed and where it works best.

Where we work

We serve Eugene and Springfield, with detailed pages for Springfield, Cottage Grove, Junction City, Creswell, Coburg, Veneta, Pleasant Hill and Oakridge. The areas we serve page gives an overview of what changes across the region.

Learn before you decide

We want you to be an informed customer. Our guides explain typical costs, how Willamette Valley moisture affects floors, what to ask about prep and warranties and how LVP and tile or epoxy and paint compare. If any of them leave you with questions, call us.

Our approach to honest recommendations

A good estimate sometimes leads to a smaller job than the customer expected. If a bedroom's existing carpet is serviceable and only the pad has failed, we say so. If tile in a bathroom has a single loose area, we explain whether a repair will do. If you are planning to sell, we help you separate the improvements buyers notice from the ones they will not. That approach does not always maximize the size of a job, but it builds the trust that makes referrals possible.

We also try to be clear about what we do not know. Every house has hidden conditions, and flooring sometimes uncovers surprises under old materials. We prefer to describe the range of possibilities up front, agree how we will handle them and keep you informed when something changes. Surprises handled openly are inconvenient; surprises hidden are expensive.

Living and working in the Willamette Valley

The valley's wet winters and dry summers shape everything about flooring here. We schedule installation, deliveries and acclimation with the season in mind, and we recommend materials that handle damp air rather than ones that only look good in a showroom. The wet-climate guide shows how much of our thinking comes down to moisture.

Our work spans small bedroom replacements, whole-house remodels, rental turnovers and light commercial spaces. Each one begins the same way: with a visit, a look at the base and a plain explanation of the options.
